1. The Option: This is an additional side pot that the participants may enter by paying a pre-determined amount for a "skin's" cash prize. The "skin's pot will be played on all 18 holes at the club tournaments and you are required to pay in advance to the Ladder Chairman to be eligible to play the ladder "skin's game. The amount will be determined at the beginning of the tournament year.
2. The Contest: The "skin's contest will be played on all 18 holes of the tournament. After the tournament has been completed all of the participant's scores will be compiled and a "handicap" score winner will be awarded for each hole that has been won. If there is a tie in any case the hole would be considered a carry-over and the contest would continue to the next hole. The pot would then be won by a "clear winner''.
3.The Sample Pay Out: The "pay out" would be 80% to the winner of each hole and the remainder 20% would be entered into the "general ladder fund" to be paid out at the end of the tournament year. This in turn will provide a larger revenue fund that will be distributed as prizes.
4. Wrapping It Up: If for any reason that a participant in the "skins" game has not scored the lowest handicap from hole 1 through the 18TH hole the pot will be carried over to the next tournaments 1ST hole and through to the 18TH if necessary. If for any reason there is not a clear winner at the last tournaments 18TH hole the entire monies that are available will be equally distributed into the general prize fund. The prizes will then be given out at the end of the year at the prize/awards dinner.
